Name of Post: Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) ESI Scheme, Assam


Total Number of Posts: 11 posts

UR (Unreserved): 7

OBC/ MOBC: 3

STP (Scheduled Tribe Plain): 1


Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be eligible for a pay scale of Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 12,700/-


Educational Qualification: 

Applicants must have a minimum qualification of MBBS and must be registered under the Assam Medical Council, 1960.


Age Limit: 

Candidates should be at least 21 years old and should not exceed 38 years of age as of 01/01/2023.


Age Relaxation: 

There is age relaxation for certain categories as follows:

SC (Scheduled Caste): 5 years

ST (Scheduled Tribe): 5 years

OBC/ MOBC: 3 years


Citizenship: 

Candidates must be Indian citizens as per the definition in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Residency: 

Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and must be able to produce proof of residency such as PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) issued in Assam for educational purposes, Employment Exchange Registration certificate, or Voter ID card of the candidate or their parents.

SC/ST/OBC/MOBC: Rs. 197.20/-

BPL (Below Poverty Line)/ PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): Rs. 47.20/-
